The vacancy has arisen in response to rapid growth in our University Pathways business, where due to high demand for our in the UK and USA programmes, we need expand our capacity quickly and efficiently and build high-performing customer-focused teams across multiple locations.

**Responsibilities**
Reporting directly to the HR Manager in India and with a dotted line to the Talent Acquisition Manager based in the UK, you will support Hiring Managers across a number of Kaplan locations, to ensure that open positions in their teams are filled quickly and effectively. You will do this by:

- Working with managers to understand their requirements and develop appropriate strategies to source and evaluate suitable applicants
- Drafting and /or refining job and person specifications to meet role, EDI and organisational requirements
- Conducting telephone/video interviews and producing shortlists for hiring managers
- Maintaining regular communication with hiring managers and team leads to elicit feedback and refine approach
- Ensuring that recruitment practices are effective, inclusive and fair
- Contributing ideas and input to support the continued growth and development of the Talent Acquisition function

You’ll also carry out other duties, within the broad scope and spirit of your role, as requested by your manager. Our business continuously evolves, so your role will too.
- Prior experience of in-house recruitment and talent acquisition, with direct experience of hiring across different geographies and a demonstrable ability to work cross-culturally
- Excellent understanding of the recruitment lifecycle
- First-rate interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and strong organisation skills
- Knowledge of recruitment best practice and relevant law relating to hiring of staff
- Experience with at least one applicant tracking system
- Experience of or interest in developing an employer brand
- Strong customer service ethos
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Interest in recruitment technology
