**Are You Up To The Challenge?**

As a Game Designer for Hybrid Mobile games you have a talent to create fun, exciting game experiences for our players. You’ll be passionate and experienced in casual and/or hypercasual mobile game design, and want to make things that are the best of both worlds. This role will be working with our development partners, meaning you’ll get the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people.

**Your Team Mates**

The Mobile Publishing team works with external game developers to bring their titles to success by leveraging the internal expertise of Kwalee. We source and onboard developers and provide a suite of tools through our publishing portal to support them at every step of the journey. Our team comprises of Business Development who source new games, Partnerships who nurture our long term relationships, Production who ensure games are of the highest quality, and Technology who build the technology that supports our partners.

**What Does The Job Actually Involve?**
- Working as part of the Mobile Publishing Team, taking responsibility for multiple mobile game projects, creating game design documents, diagrams and flowcharts.
- Maximising LTV through constant iteration of game features and functions.
- Designing compelling game mechanics using modern mobile design principles.
- Creating, balancing and tuning game mechanics, game difficulty and UI flow.
- Creating levels and additional content using Unity, for new and existing games.
- Evolving and adapting game designs based on play testing, feedback and live metrics.
- Driving long term player engagement by understanding mobile players needs and motivations.
- Understanding data from live games to better optimise them for success.

**Your Hard Skills**
- Proven experience in a game design role with multiple published titles.
- Experience creating hypercasual or casual mobile games.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of mobile free-to-play game monetisation and advertising techniques.
- Ability to work creatively in a demanding team environment.
- Absolute passion for playing and making video games, especially mobile games.
- Strong creative ideas and imagination, able to entertain players with challenges, humour, surprises and fun.
- Positive attitude, self driven, able to work alone or as part of a team.
