**Responsibilities includes**:
**Greeting and Seating Customers**: Waiters and waitresses often greet customers as they enter the restaurant, provide menus, and guide them to their tables. They may also assist in arranging seating for groups.

**Taking Orders**: Waitstaff take orders from customers, noting their food and beverage choices, any special requests, and dietary restrictions. They may also provide recommendations and answer questions about the menu.

**Relaying Orders to the Kitchen**: Waiters/waitresses communicate orders to the kitchen staff, ensuring that they are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.

**Serving Food and Beverages**: Once orders are ready, waitstaff deliver the food and drinks to the appropriate tables. They ensure that each dish matches the order and is presented neatly.

**Providing Excellent Customer Service**: Waiters/waitresses are responsible for creating a positive dining experience for customers. This involves being attentive, courteous, and responsive to customers' needs and preferences.

**Checking on Customers**: During the meal, waitstaff periodically check on customers to ensure they have everything they need and to address any concerns.

**Clearing Tables**: After customers finish their meals, waiters/waitresses clear dishes and utensils from the tables promptly and efficiently.

**Handling Payments**: Waitstaff typically bring the bill to the table, process payments, and provide change or assist with credit card transactions.

**Maintaining Cleanliness**: Waiters/waitresses help maintain a clean and organized dining area by wiping tables, resetting them for the next customers, and ensuring that the restaurant's overall cleanliness standards are upheld.

**Collaborating with Kitchen and Other Staff**: Effective communication with kitchen staff, hosts/hostesses, and other members of the restaurant team is crucial for ensuring a smooth dining experience.

**Handling Special Requests**: Waitstaff need to accommodate special requests, modifications to menu items, and dietary restrictions while ensuring that the kitchen and other staff are informed.

**Upselling and Promotions**: Some establishments may encourage waitstaff to suggest additional menu items, specials, or promotions to customers.

**Resolving Customer Issues**: If customers have complaints or concerns, waiters/waitresses should address them professionally and promptly, seeking assistance from supervisors if necessary.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

**Education**:
