Helper/laborer

A laundry helper, also known as a laundry attendant or laundry worker, is responsible for the basic tasks of washing, drying, and folding laundry in a commercial or institutional setting. This typically includes sorting, cleaning, and handling linens and other têxtiles, often in facilities like hotels, hospitals, or laundromats. Key Responsibilities:

- **Sorting, Washing, and Drying**:Laundry helpers sort soiled items by type (e.g., towels, linens, clothing), load them into washing machines, and operate dryers to clean and dry the items.
- **Folding and Ironing**:After drying, laundry helpers fold and sometimes iron the items, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**:They keep the laundry area tidy, organized, and free of safety hazards, ensuring proper sanitation and safety guidelines are followed.
- **Inventory Management**:Laundry helpers may also assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
- **Equipment Operation**:They operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and other related machines.
