**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Teach Biology to students of grades 11 and 12, following the curriculum prescribed by the relevant educational board (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or state boards).
- Create and implement lesson plans that ensure proper coverage of the entire syllabus.
- Use various teaching methods such as lectures, demonstrations, and group activities to engage students in the learning process.
- Ensure that students are actively involved in learning through interactive discussions, assignments, and assessments.
- **Subject Expertise**:

- Provide clear explanations of complex biological concepts and encourage critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of biology, incorporating current research and findings into the lessons.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and conduct periodic assessments such as quizzes, tests, assignments, and practical exams.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their academic performance.
- Maintain records of student performance, including grades, attendance, and behavior.
- **Laboratory Supervision**:

- Supervise practical sessions and experiments in the biology lab.
- Ensure safety protocols and guidelines are followed during practical sessions.
- Prepare necessary materials and tools for experiments and practical classes.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any issues related to academics or behavior.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and development.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Assist in the development and refinement of the biology curriculum.
- Suggest and implement improvements in the curriculum based on student needs and the latest teaching strategies.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Participate in and occasionally organize extracurricular activities related to science, such as science fairs, biology exhibitions, or field trips to enhance students' learning experience.
- Guide students in preparing for biology-related competitions, Olympiads, and other academic events.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biology or related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is required.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably at the senior secondary level (grades 11 and 12).
- Experience with laboratory work and practical sessions.
- **Skills**:

- Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Organizational and time-management skills for preparing lesson plans, grading, and maintaining student records.
- Patience and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with fellow teachers and the school management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
