As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Your primary duties will include conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and assisting with equipment upgrades and installations. Your role will be critical in minimizing downtime, optimizing production efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment according to established schedules.
- Perform repairs and troubleshooting to address mechanical failures, leaks, malfunctions, and other issues promptly.
- Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems to restore equipment functionality.
- Utilize hand and power tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- **Troubleshooting and Diagnosis**:

- Identify the root cause of equipment failures through systematic troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Analyze mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to determine sources of problems.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members and other departments to resolve complex technical issues.
- **Installation and Upgrades**:

- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Participate in equipment upgrades, modifications, and retrofit projects to improve performance and reliability.
- Follow technical specifications, blueprints, and manuals to ensure accurate assembly and alignment.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory standards to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate hazards associated with maintenance activities.
- Report any safety concerns, near misses, or incidents promptly and participate in safety training programs.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Document equipment modifications, upgrades, and maintenance histories for reference and analysis.
- Input data into computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking and reporting purposes.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
