**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source and procure civil/construction materials like cement, steel, aggregates, bricks, tiles, plumbing, electrical fittings, etc.
- Obtain competitive quotations, analyze prices, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective purchases.
- Maintain and update approved vendor database and evaluate vendor performance periodically.
- Review and verify purchase requisitions and ensure specifications and quantities match project needs.
- Track material deliveries and ensure timely delivery at construction sites or warehouses.
- Coordinate with engineering, site, and project teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation in ERP or procurement software.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in the resolution of any supply issues, discrepancies, or delays.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Knowledge of civil and construction materials and their specifications.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with procurement systems (SAP, ERP, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and pricing.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction, infrastructure, or real estate sector.
- Understanding of local and national supply markets and vendor networks.
