**Job Description**:
We are executing a leadership role of Dean Design with one of the leading University in Pune.

**The KRA's would be**:
1. Align the department objectives to the University mission and Vision.
2. Responsible for the academic leadership, vision and strategic direction of School of Design.
3. Ensure delivery of high quality teaching, research and knowledge exchange.
4. Develop yearly budget and control the expenses.
5. Plan in time marketing and promotions and ensure year on year rise in the student intake quality.
6. Ensure effective management of staff and deployment of resources towards the university strategic aims.
7. Encourage faculties to adopt innovative approaches to course design and delivery.
8. Plan and monitor the lectures of faculties and advise for areas of improvements.
9. Collaborate with industries, universities and institutes.

**Desired Qualification and Experience**
Ph.D. from IITs/ IIMS/ISB//top 50-NIRF ranked institutions /high QS ranked global University
10 to 20 years of experience in Research/Higher Education
Minimum 3 years of Academic Administrative experience
A successful track record of increasing leadership and responsibility at a reputed University/ Institute (Reputed university - IITs/ IIMS/ISB//top 50-NIRF ranked institutions /high QS ranked global University)
Demonstrated academic and research excellence at a national/ international level
Demonstrated financial acumen and experience, and commercial awareness.
