Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities:
1. Membership Sales and Acquisition:
- Act as the primary point of contact for potential new members.
- Promote gym membership benefits and services to individuals and groups.
- Conduct tours of the facility, explaining membership options, amenities, and programs.
- Provide information about membership fees, discounts, and promotions.
- Assist prospective members with the signup process and membership paperwork.
2. Member Onboarding and Orientation:
- Welcome new members and provide an overview of gym facilities, equipment, and services.
- Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new members with gym policies, safety procedures, and etiquette.
- Assess the fitness goals and needs of new members and recommend suitable programs or services.
- Introduce new members to fitness trainers or instructors, as appropriate.
3. Membership Retention and Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with existing members and ensure a positive member experience.
- Address member concerns or questions regarding membership, billing, or services.
- Proactively communicate with members to keep them engaged and informed about upcoming events, classes, or promotions.
- Monitor member attendance and reach out to inactive or at-risk members to understand their needs and encourage their participation.
- Implement retention strategies to reduce member churn and increase member satisfaction.
4. Membership Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records and databases.
- Handle membership billing, including processing payments, tracking outstanding balances, and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Assist members with account inquiries, updates, and cancellations.
- Generate reports and analyze membership data to track membership trends and performance indicators.
5. Member Communication and Outreach:
- Coordinate with the marketing team to promote membership offers and events.
- Participate in community outreach events and initiatives to attract new members and promote the gym.
6. Collaborative Support:
- Work closely with other departments, such as fitness trainers, front desk staff, and management, to ensure smooth member experiences.
- Provide support and assistance during gym events, classes, or programs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential leads and referral opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to make informed recommendations to members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a fitness or membership-based environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Customer-focused with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in using membership management software or CRM systems.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and services.
- Ability to multitask and handle inquiries from multiple members simultaneously.
- Positive attitude
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 48 per week
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
