A hospital pharmacist has many duties and responsibilities, including:

- **Medication preparation**: Compounding medicines and creating individual medication plans
- **Medication dispensing**: Dispensing medications to patients and providing advice during the process
- **Medication storage and disposal**: Ensuring medications are appropriately stored and disposed of properly when they are no longer needed
- **Medication safety**: Ensuring drug safety and monitoring patient history
- **Medication selection**: Deciding which form of medication is appropriate for each patient
- **Medication dosage**: Recommending dosages and administration routes
- **Medication effects**: Observing the drug's effects to ensure the patient's safety
- **Patient counseling**: Counseling patients on their medications and discussing the side effects they might experience
- **Patient education**: Educating patients on how to take their medications and how important it is that they adhere to the dosage schedule
- **Patient progress monitoring**: Monitoring the patient's adherence to the prescribed drug therapy and response to the treatment
- **Collaboration with healthcare providers**: Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- **Documentation**: Keeping accurate documentation of medication plans and patient progress
- **Quality assurance**: Carrying out quality assurance of medicines
- **Staying updated**: Staying updated on advancements in medicine

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Basic computer: 1 year (preferred)
