One of the most underserved areas for small businesses is in the field of insurance for businesses. Insurance products typically cover a variety of area including group health, group life, cargo, shop / fire and marine among other categories. However, multiple problems plague the penetration of this essential service to the MSME base - from manual processes, high costs, lack of digitization and cumbersome claims servicing and management to name a few
- The product manager role within nexarc Finance is responsible for designing digital first offerings, launching scalable offerings within their portfolio - from benchmarking what’s out there in the market, developing partnerships, interacting with users to chart out detailed user journeys to defining how nexarc can differentiate from the market and provide a customer-centric, scalable offering. The role also entails putting together the GTM & Delivery strategy as well as business model creation & projection - ensuring that economics and scale make it a viable product. The PM interacts closely with the program managers, solution architects, insurance service providers and engineering team to ensure business requirements are clearly captured & prioritized while developing the product. Further, the product manager closely interacts with the business sales team to ensure appropriate understanding of the product & GTM play - handholding and supporting where required for launch & scale-up
