We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems and equipment, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our staff and guests.
- Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on diverse systems, including air-conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, and fire and life safety (FLS) equipment
- Conduct building maintenance tasks such as repairing furniture and fixtures, painting, and general repairs
- Maintain and troubleshoot kitchen and laundry equipment
- Perform plumbing and drainage repairs and maintenance
- Assist with low voltage (LV) system maintenance and guest room upkeep
- Collaborate with engineering management and team leaders to improve efficiency and implement safe work practices
- Communicate effectively about potential service disruptions and coordinate with relevant departments
- Continuously develop skills through training and hands-on experience
- Adhere to hotel and department policies and procedures at all times
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in general maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Familiarity with fire and life safety equipment and procedures
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license may be required
