**Job Summary**

The Cashier is responsible for managing cash transactions with customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role includes handling sales, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout area.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Transaction Management**:

- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods efficiently and accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per company policy.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Assist customers with purchases, promotions, and product information.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and escalate as needed.
- **Sales Support**:

- Scan and process items quickly and correctly.
- Upsell and promote special offers to increase sales.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory records.
- **Operational Duties**:

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout area.
- Follow all cash handling and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including security measures.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role is a plus.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Rotational shift
