- Job Description

As a Supply Chain Tactical Supply Planner at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for managing supply planning activities in response to demand with effective collaboration between Demand Management, Sales Operations, Quality, Procurement, Capacity Planning, and Factories Execution teams for timely execution of a feasible supply build plan to meet monthly and quarterly shipment targets
You will collaborate with all Operations areas and Service Level team to enable efficient use of capacity and maintain inventory health to attain desired customer service level target for the products assigned to you through various analytics of our ERP tool and advanced planning systems.
You must possess proficient skills related to data analysis and developing conclusions to complex problems and develop strong interpersonal skills to lead and drive collaboration with impacted stakeholders to resolve many identified to meet the defined objectives.
You are encouraged to develop an understanding of the value chain you plan for and other related processes. Examples of these areas are demand management, S&OP, silicon planning, inventory management, factory loading, manufacturing sites, logistics, fulfillment, and customer requirements. The knowledge you develop here will assist you in solving many problems and will enable your career progression.

**Requirement -**
- Required work experience - 1 to 3 years
- Lead supply disruption events and provide clear communication to partners on adjusted build plan and priorities, trade-offs and recommendations to meet customer demand.
- Develop supply risks and opportunities to demand and drive risk mitigation action plan to minimize disruption and increase revenue opportunities
- Project supply accurately to guide reliable commitments to customer orders and sales plan attainment
- Identify and drive enhancement improvement to supply planning capability through understanding of process and system gaps
- Monitor BE inventory health and drive necessary build plan adjustments to meet service level targets and fill rate metrics.
- Provide qualitative supply chain impact analysis to planned and unplanned quality event
- Interface to partners for build plan, supply risk and opportunities, Backend inventory health and On-Time Entitled Customer Request Date (eCRD) attainment

A supply chain engineer is an engineering professional who applies the principles of management science, industrial engineering, operations research, and analytics for the design, control, and systems on the business of supply chain management. The work of supply chain engineer also includes collaboration and optimization of supply chain operations with partners and customers, including Sales, Business Unit, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Outsource Operations team.
- 25% Manufacturing Engineer, 25% Business, 25% Data Science and 25% Supply Chain Engineering
- Undergrad in Engineering and Masters in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Strong analytical, problem solving and cross functional collaboration skills
- Ability to evaluate trade-off and make decision in uncertain environment
