
Hospital Icu Technician

An ICU technician, also known as a Critical Care Technologist, has a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Patient care: Provide direct care to patients in the ICU, including assisting with their comfort, hygiene, and transport
- Equipment management: Set up, maintain, and ensure the correct use of equipment like ventilators, dialysis machines, and monitors
- Training: Train other hospital staff on how to use equipment
- Research and development: Research, develop, assess, and introduce new critical care treatments and technologies
- Communication: Communicate clearly with doctors, other hospital personnel, and patients
- Customer service: Provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, and visitors
- Inventory: Maintain patient supplies by inventory, restocking, and organizing supplies
- Cleaning: Track, clean, and organize patient care equipment
