**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to transactions or products.
- Maintain a positive and approachable attitude to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Accurately process customer transactions using the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payment transactions securely.
- Issue receipts, change, and refunds according to company policy.
- **Sales and Product Knowledge**:

- Assist customers in locating and selecting items as needed.
- Inform customers of any ongoing promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs.
- Ensure that all pricing is accurate and reflects current store policies.
- **Transaction Processing**:

- Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately.
- Verify and check for any discrepancies in the cash drawer or POS system.
- Ensure the correct handling of returns and exchanges, following company guidelines.
- **Maintain Cleanliness and Organization**:

- Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the checkout area to provide a safe and comfortable environment for customers.
- Assist in restocking shelves or assisting in product displays during slower periods.
- **Compliance and Security**:

- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and security protocols.
- Report any discrepancies, suspicious activity, or theft immediately to the management.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.
- Assist in training new cashiers or other staff members as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is a plus.
- Strong math and basic accounting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
