**Product Expert / Chief Product Owner for Business ByDesign Localization.**

**ABOUT THE TEAM/BRAND/LINE OF BUSINESS**
SAP Globalization Services supports Intelligent Enterprises to go global and empowers every customer to succeed globally and locally.

**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

SAP’s Globalization Product Management (GPM) group proactively manages the globalization of SAP’s product offerings in alignment with the overall company strategy. We enable SAP’s customers to continuously run global solutions according to their local and country specific needs.

We are currently looking for an experienced Leader, with significant experience in leading dynamic and diverse teams to join us as the Chief Product Owner (CPO) for Business ByDesign Globalization. In this role you will be our single point of contact for Business ByDesign within Globalization Services. You will be closely collaborating with multiple scrum teams working on the product localization, and you will define the development priorities. In your role you will be accountable for the vision, roadmap, stakeholder management, portfolio definition, holistic scope, prioritization, and adoption of Business ByDesign localization.

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- Be a trusted and supportive team leader who unlocks the potential of the team, explores possibilities, inspires purpose, and makes an impact.
- Understand business prerequisites, customer needs and requirements
- Analyze business requirements as a Chief Product Owner, break the down and pass it over to product owners of individual scrum teams
- Interact with various internal stakeholders like Business ByDesign Management, Local Product Managers, Market units, Region Owners and Development Managers
- Expand adoption in terms of number of customers and addressable markets will be a key expectation.
- Deep understanding and commitment to software engineering principles/processes and continuous improvement through measurement
- Build and drive the roadmap for Business ByDesign localization
- Always have an eye on the quality quotient of the deliverables.
- Coordinate the product development at a high level and timely communicate it to all necessary stakeholders.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field of study
- Ability to build and maintain a strong professional network with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to help drive the decision-making process
- Product owner experience is preferable
- Good leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills required
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.

**WORK EXPERIENCE**
Minimum 8+years of overall professional experience related to the above skills, preferably cloud software. Proven track record in defining, driving, and executing a successful product strategy. Experience in handling of customer issues, coordination of multiple development teams, and stakeholder management.

**Location**: Bangalore, India
**Travel Percentage**: 10%
