About the role

This role is a part of Apra Remediation Tribe (ART) under Commercial Technology division, and we are currently embarking on a 3-year investment program to foster and mature the business to better serve our medium and small business customers.

Solution Designers deeply understand the business environment and requirements to design end-to-end solutions that solve business problems with Technology solutions. Moreover, lead and document design solution components that meet business requirements, align with Architecture roadmap, and meet ANZ delivery framework standard.

What will your day look like

Plan and design solution

Ability to plan, breakdown analysis work into tasks to be allocated to Analysts

Support and conduct the end-to-end solution design for technology solution components

Ability to come up with design options, document and present design decisions at various forums for appropriate endorsements

Partner with the Architects, Product Owners, Analysts, Engineers, and other people in your squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries to shape the design

Oversee solution build to ensure alignment

Experience with SaaS products and the integration of it into other systems via API and micro-services

Experience with database replication technology and keeping databases in sync using event-based integration

What will you bring?

Elicit business and solution requirements to translate customer needs & business goals

Ability to prepare for and conduct elicitation using a broad range of innovative elicitation practices, and techniques

Ability to verify, validate, and communicate requirements with stakeholders

Ability to understand and document current and future state of systems

Translating business requirements into IT solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact

Understanding of business & technical landscape

Extensive knowledge of the business, it’s customers and related business drivers

Extensive knowledge of the technical systems that support the business

Extensive knowledge on core banking, retail and commercial systems

Analytical Thinking

Excellent analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking skills

Ability to solve complex problems using a range of techniques

Ability to identify MVP through planning, organising, modelling and prioritising requirements with stakeholders

Communication & Facilitation Skills

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate business analysis outcomes

Ability to facilitate workshops with stakeholder groups
