At Story Digital, the Sports Copywriter contributes to a portfolio of sports and sports-related clients (such as league pages, official merchandise partners and the likes) and occasionally on sports-themed campaigns for non-sports related clients (such as FnB, Sportswear and the likes)

We are looking for writers who follow various sports. Applicants must possess an understanding of the sports followers' persona.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stay abreast with sports-related developments (fixtures, teams, leagues, players) majorly in India (more than just cricket) and worldwide to a great extent (popular sports like Football, F1)
Understand the tones and lingos used for various sports.
Develop interest and knowledge in new sports basis client portfolios or the needs of existing clients.
Work on designing campaigns and the communication for them.
Create and unify copies for multiple offline and online brand assets and integrated communication channels.
Conduct thorough research before copywriting.
Proofreading and editing existing copies to check, refine, and rectify for context, verbal appeal, and information.
Create content previews.

EXPERIENCE:
1+ years of experience as a Copywriter with a track record of handling communication for sports pages/ sports leagues is desirable.
Knowledge in
- and experience with digital content creation for social media (scripts, posts, advertisements, brand assets, and the likes) is a must. A plus if done for other media and agencies instead of freelancing, though, freelancers and individual writers may also apply.

SKILLS & QUALITIES:
Excellent command of English, both verbal and oral.
A keen sense of design, detail, creativity and a flair for writing is essential.
Ability to prioritize projects, multi-task, and deliver under pressure.
Ability to understand the needs associated with every target group.

REQUISITES:
Your portfolio must primarily include copywriting samples and some content writing samples also. If you do not have content writing samples, please draft a blog as a sample.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

- New Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
