**Detailed Job Responsibilities - PGT History**
- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach History to Classes XI and XII in line with CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, teaching aids, and presentations.
- Ensure coverage of all prescribed units (Indian & World History, themes, sources, historiography).
- **Student Learning & Engagement**:

- Foster analytical and critical thinking by encouraging debates, discussions, and role plays.
- Guide students in interpreting historical events from multiple perspectives.
- Organize field trips/excursions to historical sites, museums, or heritage walks where feasible.
- **Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Design class tests, assignments, projects, and mock exams.
- Evaluate answer scripts objectively, provide timely feedback, and maintain student performance records.
- Assist students in preparing for CBSE board exams and competitive tests (like CUET, UPSC foundations, etc.).
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain discipline, decorum, and a positive learning environment.
- Address academic or behavioral concerns promptly with empathy.
- Ensure equal participation of students across genders and academic abilities.
- **Academic Enrichment**:

- Integrate ICT (smart boards, audio-visual tools, online resources) in teaching.
- Encourage students to explore historical research and project work.
- Support school-level exhibitions, history clubs, and inter-school competitions.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning.
- Share progress updates with parents during PTMs.
- Work closely with coordinators and the Principal for continuous improvement of teaching-learning processes.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, NEP directives, and latest teaching methodologies.
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
