Reliever Nurse for School Health Nurse

**Job Summary**: Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, focusing on performing and assisting with medical procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality, efficient care in a home setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform and assist with various medical procedures, such as wound care, IV insertions, catheterizations, and other specialised tasks.
- Assess patient conditions and determine the appropriate procedure requirements.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and health management.
- Monitor and document patient responses and outcomes related to procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust care plans based on procedural outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centred care, addressing any concerns or questions.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse (RN) licence required; relevant certifications (e.g., IV therapy, wound care) preferred.
- Proven experience in performing and assisting with medical procedures.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying home environments.

**Work Environment**:

- Travel to patient homes within a designated area.
- Flexible schedule, including possible evening and weekend visits.
