Job description for salesman at our home furnishings store:
1. Product Knowledge and Customer Assistance:

- Assist customers in selecting suitable home furnishings and decor.
- Provide detailed product information and benefits.
- Understand customer preferences and needs.
- Conduct on-site visits to customer homes for measurements.
- Ensure accurate measurements for furniture placement.
- Create visual representations for space planning.

3. Design Consultation:

- Offer personalized design recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Coordinate color schemes, patterns, and textures.
- Work with the design team to meet specific design requirements.

4. Customer Service:

- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and questions promptly.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Schedule site visits based on customer availability.

5. Record Keeping and Order Processing:

- Maintain detailed records of measurements and customer preferences.
- Use records for accurate order processing and customization.

6. Sample Management:

- Manage a collection of product samples, fabric swatches, and material options.
- Provide customers with tangible references for their selections.

7. Visual Merchandising:

- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team for effective product displays.
- Showcase products in an appealing and organized manner.

8. Upselling and Enhancing Experience:

- Suggest additional products, accessories, or customizations.
- Enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

9. Product Knowledge and Trends:

- Stay updated on industry trends and new product arrivals.
- Share up-to-date information with customers.
