**The Role**

This role focuses on designing infrastructure solutions, particularly for Hitachi Vantara's offerings like Cyber Resilience, Monitoring, Automation, Data Management, AIOps, and GenAI. You'll support sales by creating solution designs, planning services, and helping with customer proposals. You'll also ensure customer needs are met and maintain a catalogue of hardware/software solutions, creating custom ones when needed.

You'll act as an expert, guiding teams, mentoring junior staff, and improving processes. The job requires handling complex tasks, making decisions independently, and leading projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design infrastructure solutions and plan service efforts for key deals or customers.
- Support sales by creating solution designs and reviewing customer proposals.
- Promote Hitachi Vantara solutions like Cyber Resilience, Automation, Data Management, AIOps, and GenAI.
- Develop custom solutions when standard options don't meet requirements.
- Maintain a catalog of hardware and software solutions.
- Contribute to transition and transformation plans by identifying implementation tasks.
- Provide expertise in areas like Hitachi Storage, Migrations, SAN Switches (Brocade, Cisco), Backup, and Virtualization.
- Lead projects, mentor junior team members, and drive process improvements.
- Use advanced knowledge to solve complex business issues and make independent decisions.
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in the Infrastructure domain.
