**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students using a variety of teaching methods.

- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Manage student behavior effectively and address disciplinary issues as needed.
- **Student Support**:

- Provide extra help or tutoring to students who may be struggling with the material.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to address individual student needs.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on advancements in science education and teaching methodologies.
- Participate in professional development activities and workshops to enhance teaching skills.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, upcoming events, and any concerns.

- **Safety and Laboratory Management (for applicable levels)**:

- Ensure the safety of students during laboratory experiments and activities.
- Properly maintain and manage laboratory equipment and materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (a degree in the specific science discipline is often preferred).
- Teaching certification or licensure.
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
