**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review, troubleshoot, and prepare client files for production, ensuring they meet printing specifications.
- Preflight files to identify and correct errors such as missing fonts, incorrect color profiles, and low-resolution images.
- Create impositions, layouts, and proofs for various print formats and ensure accurate pagination and alignment.
- Operate pre-press software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and CorelDRAW, to process and edit files.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve file issues and ensure print readiness.
- Manage color calibration and adjustment for consistency across printed materials.
- Ensure all jobs are prepared within the deadlines and meet production standards.
- Maintain pre-press equipment and software, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning efficiently.
- Archive and manage digital assets for future reference and reorders.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven experience as a Pre-Press Operator in a commercial printing environment.
- Proficiency in pre-press software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and CorelDRAW.
- Knowledge of RIP systems and workflows for both offset and digital printing.
- Familiarity with color management techniques, ICC profiles, and Pantone matching.
- Strong understanding of imposition, bleed, and trapping techniques.
- Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot file issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification or training in graphic design, printing technology, or a related field is a plus.
