**Commis I (Senior Line Cook) - Indian Cuisine**
**Role**:
Commis I is a senior entry-level chef who works under the Chef de Partie. In Indian kitchens, they are expected to have strong foundational skills and be able to handle cooking tasks with mínimal supervision.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes (e.g., curries, tandoori items, biryanis).
- Assist in the preparation of mise en place.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Supervise and guide Commis II and III staff if required.
**Skills Required**:
- Good knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to handle cooking stations independently.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment (e.g., tandoor, gas ranges, mixers).
**Commis II (Junior Line Cook) - Indian Cuisine**
**Role**:
Commis II is a junior cook who supports Commis I and other senior kitchen staff. Their main focus is on learning and executing basic food preparation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with chopping, grinding, marination, and other prep tasks.
- Support the main cooking process as directed.
- Keep workstation clean and organized.
- Follow food safety and cleanliness guidelines.
- Learn Indian cooking techniques and recipes.
**Skills Required**:
- Basic knowledge of Indian ingredients and preparation methods.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Good knife and prep skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
