**Job Summary**:

- As a Cancer Immunologist at Shakuntala Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the immune system's interactions with cancer cells and developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies.
- You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians to advance our knowledge of cancer immunology and translate scientific discoveries into actionable therapies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct cutting-edge research on cancer immunology, focusing on immune system mechanisms, tumour immunology, and the development of novel immunotherapies.
- Design and execute experiments to investigate the role of immune cells in tumour progression and response to treatment.
- Develop and validate preclinical models to evaluate the efficacy and safety of immunotherapeutic agents.
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians, data scientists, and other researchers to analyse complex datasets and interpret results.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cancer immunology and immunotherapy, and integrate new knowledge into ongoing research projects.
- Mentor and supervise junior scientists and research staff.
- Participate in grant writing and contribute to securing funding for research projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of research experience in cancer immunology, with a strong publication record.
- In-depth knowledge of the immune system, tumour biology, and current immunotherapeutic approaches.
- Experience with preclinical models, flow cytometry, cell culture, and other relevant laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis using statistical software and bioinformatics tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Postdoctoral experience in cancer immunology or a related field.
- Experience with clinical trial design and translational research.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and good laboratory practices (GLP).
