**Job Responsibilities: -**

**1.Patient assessment Job Elements: -**

**For OPD patients: -**
- Examines the patient and takes the history of the patient.
- Tests the status of the disability of the patient.

**Skills and Knowledge: -**
- Knowledge about various body parts
- Basic knowledge about treatment outcomes of various procedures and their requirements of occupational therapy Job Responsibilities

**2.Performs occupational therapy exercises on patients**

**For OPD patients: -**
- Provides occupational therapy on the patient and explains about home care program For IPD patients
- Ascertains the precautions that must be observed while providing occupational therapy
- Ascertains whether the patient is still attached to any infusions or IV drips.
- Adjusts the height of the physical aids being used.
- Checks the posture of the patient during the exercise.
- Strives towards limiting dependence of the patient on others and physical aids.
- Briefs the full team about the progress of the patient.
- Provides home care to patients.

**Skills and Knowledge: -**
- Empathy Attention for detail Knowledge of occupational therapeutic techniques.
- Ability to cooperate with the other staff Good communication skills

**3.Performs documentation function**

**For OPD patients : -**
- Records the details of the occupational therapy session and gives the next appointment.

**For IPD patients**:

- Maintains the Rehab Progress Sheet for the hospital’s record
- Enters the details of IPD patient assessment into the HIS

**Skills and Knowledge: -**
- Database management skills Attention for details

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
