Sourcing Associate

**This position is responsible for all Indirect Services category across the India**
- Perform market research and spend analysis on specific categories in Facilities, IT, HR, Marketing, Telecommunication, Travel and Professional Services. Interpret analysis and evaluate high spend categories of goods and services to determine where opportunities lie for pricing and contract renegotiations, contract/vendor consolidations, or alternative goods or services evaluations.
- Under direction from the Category/Subcategory Lead or Director/Associate Director of Global Sourcing, develop and implement or lead highly complex projects that benefit Labcorp through reduced pricing, increased efficiencies, ease of management, or reduced risk
- Prepare and occasionally provide presentations and analytical reports on Projects to Leadership and end users.
- Manage and support the vendor relationship, contract and high-level sourcing of top-spend categories where the products, services or vendors are used across multiple sites or business units.
- Support the contract development, including key contracting principles, standard terms, laws/regulations, and industry standards.
- Draft, red-lines, reviews, and negotiates Telecommunication, Travel and Professional Services category vendor contracts including, but not limited to, Master Services Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Statements of Work, Renewals, etc.
- Facilitate sourcing councils consisting of representatives from user groups, finance, and sourcing in order to understand the needs of the end users. Evaluate and negotiate the best goods and services contract and pricing to meet the needs of the end users.
- Consistently monitor marketplace conditions of assigned categories
- Prepare and occasionally provide presentations on completed project/category savings and category spend analysis to Leadership and user groups.
- Provide sourcing support and customer satisfaction while delivering significant improvements to the business in cost reductions, enhanced revenue opportunities and risk mitigation.
- Be process driven and project focused with ability to prioritize and get projects completed in set timeframe.
- Prioritize workload under direction of your line Manager to meet the changing demands of the business and the market.
- Understand the data requirements for FSA in terms of Item and Vendor Master and Labcorp P2P process requirements, ensuring any contracts can be implemented through this process.
- This position will be a member of cross departmental teams that will include all stakeholders in the decision making process.

**Education and Qualifications**
- BA or BS with a minimum of 4 + years’ experience in strategic sourcing projects, Travel and professional services contracting.
- Professional designations/certifications/licenses: CIPS or equivalent work experiences, preferred
- Some knowledge of best procurement practices
- Be process driven and project focused with ability to prioritize and get projects completed in a timely manner while responding to the changing demands of the business and market.
- Ability to identify critical success factors when developing strategy and plans.
- Ability to weigh and appropriately balance technological, market, competitive, and organizational factors in order to achieve competitive advantage.
- Proven experience using diverse perspectives when developing plans and making decisions and consider possible outcomes of alternative courses of action.
- Regional and/or global sourcing responsibilities for spend categories
- Some experience in negotiation and of key contractual terms
- Proven communication skills with all levels of management to include HR, Travel, Facilities operations, finance, and legal.
