**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are seeking an Sr Associate who will be a key member of the Payments Analytics team within the broader Data and Analytics organization. In particular, you will strive to build consensus with Product Owners on if, where, when, how, and whom to dreliver customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports.

Quant Analysts combine analytic skills with specific domain knowledge to make data actionable allowing for ease of consumption. They translate between analytic and non-analytic groups as well as facilitate holistic, cross-functional learning. They collaborate, learn, teach and disseminate knowledge across the D&A community.

Job responsibilities
- Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
- Create data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy
- Rationalize complex normalized data sets allowing for ease of cross org consumption
- Partner with the LOB and broader D&A organization to understand business requirements and objectives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skill
- Bachelors with 8+ years of analytics experience
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx and Tableau
- Preferred Adobe Analytics knowledge
- Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle and SQL DBs
- Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertise
- Degree in quantitative or related field preferred

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or finance
- Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning
