**Role Description**
The Operations Lead in GMO NOC India will be the Single Point of Contact in GMO & Audit/Balance Confirmation NOC India for all business management, administration and allied topics (Budget/Financials, Head Count Forecasting & Tracking, Vendor Risk Management topics, Tracking Hiring and On-boarding of Staff, Senior Management Reporting, MIS, People Engagement practices, facilitating visitors meeting schedule / agenda, meeting room bookings, planning for team engagement activities etc;) and responsible for supervision of all these aspects from GMO NOC India perspective. The Operations Lead plays a key role in facilitating communication between different teams (Finance/VRM/Vendor Governance/HR & Talent Acquisition/Other COO Functions) and to foster share knowledge and good practice.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
- Reconcile transactions/invoices by comparing and correcting data.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Provide and interpret financial information
- Monitor and interpret cash flows/actual cost and predicting future trends
- Research and report on factors impacting financial performance
- Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk in terms of overshooting the assigned budget/financial target
- Conduct reviews and evaluation for Cost Reduction Opportunities
- Produce accurate financial and Head Count forecasting reports within specified deadlines
- Manage budget including regular health-check reporting to GMO Management
- Gather, analyze and interpret external and internal data and write reports
- Work extensively (front to back) on Vendor Risk Management (VRM) workflows within stipulated deadlines
- Create Senior Management presentations as well as Management Summary reports/dashboards and deliver within stipulated time
- Close collaboration with GMO Teams in Germany, India and United States.
- Close collaboration with different teams outside GMO (Finance/VRM/Vendor Governance/HR & Talent Acquisition/Business Transition/Other COO Functions)
- Ensure appropriate and timely escalation of operational, financial and other related business management risks to the Global Head of GMO Central Function
- MIS reporting and analysis of statistical data, inclusive search for new data source for evaluations and control of data.
- Drive ‘’people agenda’’ for GMO NOC India successfully thereby ensuring material positive impact on people engagement theme
- Take complete responsibility of all administrative tasks related to GMO NOC India, including meeting room bookings, preparing presentations, arranging for team outings / activities etc;
**Your skills and experience**
- Overall at least 9 years of experience in the financial / banking sector including 4-5 years proven experience in Finance or related Business Management / Project Management functions.
- Profound knowledge and expertise on Financials & Business Management techniques
- Proven experience as business manager or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
- Ability to learn and understand new technologies
- Ability to employ sound decisions from previous job experience
- Ability to negotiate
- Ability to resolve issues creatively and in a timely manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), databases (e.g. MS Access, Excel Macro) and information systems
