Job Description

MRI Software is currently seeking a System Engineer to join our Product Management team focused on developing our product. This individual needs to have experience maintaining product backlogs, documentation, and gathering requirements. In addition, the Product Owner is responsible for developing user stories, translating requirements, producing and managing product roadmaps and working with the agile programming teams. This position involves close interaction with other individuals throughout the business including architects, product managers, product development, professional services, and client support.- Job Title: Technical Consultant

- Reports to: Team Leader, FM Evolution and Repairs
Location: MRI India, Bangalore office

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The FM Evolution Team provides Technical professional services and consultancy to new and existing customers, in relation to MRI’s solutions. This includes providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support and providing consultancy and installation services to MRI’s client base. The Technical Consultant will be involved in delivering services such as installation, configuration, system administration and support. In addition to this you will be expected to maintain and contribute to the Managed Services we offer to our clients. The role also involves providing Technical services and support internally.
- Working within the FM Evolution team, the Technical Consultant is required to undertake the following responsibilities:

- Deliver effective technical support within a support environment internally and to MRI’s customer base.
- Manage the efficient delivery of technical support, adhering to customer service level agreements.
- Deliver effective system administration services within a pro-active support environment.
- To operate flexible working practices aimed at maintaining an acceptable level of service whilst avoiding any disadvantage to other staff of the company.
- To work towards consistently improving team and company standards in all areas of operations such as teamwork, communication, documentation, technical proficiency, and professionalism.
- To seek to maintain technical awareness of supported technologies.
- Participate in Team meetings.
- To work with customers in a professional manner always.- REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud and DB
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and derive solutions.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Works independently and as a team member in a high performance 24/7 availability environment.
- Can perform SQL query expressions to diagnose or resolve routine issues.
- Good working Knowledge on Microsoft Azure cloud admin and AD activities. Certified on Azure admin.
- Microsoft SQL Server - Create Databases, Create Accounts and Basic understanding of TSQL
- Knowledge of SaaS models and large-scale, distributed web architectures utilizing SaaS technologies is a plus.
- Experience with API configuration and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or relevant work experience preferred.

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer technology, MIS, or Computer Science preferred
- Associates degree (technical college) or higher in a computer-related field required
