**Job Description for Electrical Operator**

Eligibility Criteria: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant hands-on experience (minimum 5 years) on the following works from a reputed chemicals company / chemical process industry.

LT MCC panel and its components like contactor, relay, timer, isolator, MCB operation, repairing & maintenance Different type of power cable, control cable related works with glanding & termination. Electric motor, actuator defect diagnosis, repairing and maintenance Knowledge about motor, actuator windings (stator & rotor) and maintenance. Different types of motor defect identification and its repairing. Drawing and study of electrical SLD, control circuit. Capability to find out the defect in the circuit and correction Knowledge in step down / step up transformer, auto transformer, instrument transformer (CT, PT) defect analysis and maintenance Knowledge of HT/LT circuit breaker & its circuits with relay & different coils with operation, and maintenance Knowledge about electrical measuring devices like multi meter, energy meter, voltmeter, ammeter, potentiometer, tachometer, clamp meter, Insulation resistance meter(meggar), etc. defect analysis and maintenance. Knowledge about earthing pit, its measurement techniques, earth pit treatment, maintenance & servicing. Knowledge about auto power factor controller, capacitor bank, reactor etc, its operation, defect analysis and maintenance. Knowledge of interlock circuits, Variable frequency drives, defect findings, operation, and maintenance Knowledge on UPS, defect findings operation and maintenance Knowledge on DG set, operation, defect analysis and maintenance Knowledge on electrical safety, lock out, tag out & try out method etc. Knowledge on TPM, AM & PM pillar implementation at plant, personal safety. Operation of Steam generators, DG set, Electrical drives, Electrical circuit breaker, air compressor etc. at plant. Works to be performed in rotational shift duty. HT & LT electrical license holder preferable.
