**Designation: Teacher - Music Teacher**

**Position description**:
The music teacher will provide music lessons about how to sing or play a
musical instrument to students within the center or school settings. He/She will
be carrying out the following roles and responsibilities:
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Planning, preparing and executing music lessons to students
- Acquiring appropriate teaching materials/resources
- Ensuring students are engaged in musical activities
- Teaching music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students
- Entering and preparing students for examinations
- Motivating students and encouraging progress
- Liaising with academic staff and/or parents, coaches
- Creating and maintaining a network of contacts to ensure work continuity
- Ensuring up-to-date knowledge and awareness of FSM related and other events like exams, recitals, competitions etc.
- Assessing students abilities, providing feedback and writing reports
- Planning & Executing recitals/concerts for students
- Keeping financial, administrative and business records
- Advertising or publicizing the business
- Following the school's regulations like attendance and safety protocols
- Record keep and assessing according to school expectations
- Participate in School level professional development that is for all teachers
- Could be expected to share data from teaching and learning at PLC( school level meets)

**Qualification**:Min Graduation - Music Subject

**Required Skills**:

- Specialist in western classical vocals, Trained/accredited with Trinity College of London/ABRSM/LCM or any other recognized board for Piano/Keyboard/Guitar/Drums/Tabla, Teaching Music in Schools or who is passionate about Music with no formal training.
- Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Behavioral Skills: Positive attitude, Flexible approach and Adaptable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
