Job Description: Housekeeping Faculty

**Education**: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field
**About the Role**:

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Teaching & Training**:

- Deliver lectures and practical sessions on housekeeping management, operations, and techniques.
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and training modules as per industry standards.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations on cleaning techniques, use of equipment, and inventory management.

2. **Mentorship**:

- Guide students on industry practices, soft skills, and career opportunities in housekeeping.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, practicals, and examinations.

3. **Curriculum Development**:

- Assist in designing and revising the housekeeping curriculum to reflect current trends and practices.
- Incorporate sustainable and green housekeeping practices into the syllabus.

4. **Industry Engagement**:

- Liaise with hotels and hospitality organizations to ensure alignment with industry requirements.
- Organize guest lectures, workshops, and field visits to enhance learning.

5. **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports on progress.
- Support institutional events, admissions, and promotional activities when needed.
**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, including cleaning standards, inventory control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping equipment and understanding of emerging technologies in the field.
- Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse learning styles.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry trends and sustainability practices.
**Qualifications**:

- A Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Relevant experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry or teaching in a similar capacity.
- Certifications in housekeeping or hospitality training (preferred).
