Trade Finance Officer

**Role Description**
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Assistant Head of Trade Finance based in Mumbai. The role involves leading and managing the trade finance team, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, and driving the growth of trade finance operations in the organization. The Assistant Head of Trade Finance will also be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring efficient and effective execution of trade finance transactions, and developing strategies and policies to support overall business goals.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in trade finance operations, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in trade finance operations including letters of credit, guarantees, and supply chain financing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex operational challenges
- Excellent knowledge of trade finance regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with trade finance software and tools such as SWIFT and DocuSign
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to mentor and manage team members effectively
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of other languages would be a plus
