experience supporting PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. This role will be primarily focused on

production database administration for
**PostgreSQL** & MySQL databases.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL & MySQL software, implement monitoring and

alerting, implement backup and recovery processes, provide system and SQL performance

tuning and assist in business process integration with various data sources.
- Fulfills user requests ranging from access control, backup, restore, refresh to non-production

to performance tuning.
- Provides online & on call coverage for production support and administration of MongoDB,

and SQL on Hadoop.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL & MySQL Database Administration/

Engineering
- Bachelor degree in computer science, or information technology, or other related field of study
- Has hands-on experience with Python multiprocessing, Django web framework and Celery Async

framework is a big plus.
- Understands Javascript, Jquery and CSS web development is a big plus.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, SQL on Hadoop, SYBASE, Oracle is a big plus
