Overview:
**Job Title - Legal Counsel, GBL and COO offices**

Wipro has two large Global Business Lines. The first one is called iDEAS (Integrated Digital, Engineering & Application Services). This will be responsible for the following service lines:

- Domain and Consulting, Applications & Data, Engineering and R&D and Wipro Digital.

The second GBL is the Integrated Cloud Infrastructure (CIS) Digital Operations (DOP) Risk & Enterprise Cyber Security Services (CRS), abbreviated as iCORE, which will be responsible for the CIS, DOP, and CRS service lines.

The central Operations teams interalia includes the Enterprise Risk Management and Cybersecurity verticals. ERM provides risk management framework(s) to help identify, assess, mitigate and report risks. ERM helps the business verticals and functions define their risk tolerance criteria, determination of top risks, test key risk areas and related controls, develop integrated risk dashboards and identify and report top risks at the enterprise level.

The Legal Counsel will be a key member of the central legal team at Wipro which also supports facilities, immigration and contract specialist teams.

Qualifications:
**Requirements**:

- Law degree.from recognized
years similar experience in law firm, as single practitioner or in-house legal department
- Self-starter
- Curiosity and problem -solving ability
- Thinking as well as implementation both at strategic and granular level
- People skills, cross-functional environment, Collaborative style
- Clear thinker, able to function in a complex, matrixed structure
- Good presentation skills (powerpoint, excel knowledge)

Roles & Responsibilities:
**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic legal advise to the GBLs on employee related matters, client obligations, delivery issues, drive return on execution experience with the contract negotiation and drafting teams, provide inputs on Statement of Work
- For the operations functions, liaise with the ERM and CISO leaders to assess and mitigate risk in the organization, create a framework for legal risk, coordinate closure of audit actions, identify emerging risks, support process design, policy reviews
- Understanding the Wipro service offerings from a risk and contract perspective
- Evaluating new regulations in the context of Wipro services
- Acting as single point of contact for GBL delivery centres in India
- Resolving pre-disputes and assisting the central litigation team on employee and delivery related matters
- Provide legal and compliance related training to employees
