**The Role**

**SAP HANA Optimization**:

- Lead the optimization and migration of SAP ECC ABAP code to SAP HANA, ensuring full utilization of HANA’s in-memory processing capabilities.
- Redesign custom programs, reports, and database access to optimize performance on SAP HANA.
- Utilize HANA-specific features like CDS views, AMDP, and HANA stored procedures for efficient data management.

**Architecture & Solution Design**:

- Architect and design end-to-end integration between SAP HANA and third-party systems using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Design interfaces and workflows to manage key processes such as orders, notifications, timesheets, measuring documents, and attachments.

**Cloud Integration (CPI)**:

- Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between SAP HANA and external systems via SAP CPI.
- Oversee the data flow from 150+ tables and ensure that CPI can handle complex transactions efficiently.

**Performance Management & Optimization**:

- Conduct performance tuning of ABAP programs and SAP HANA queries to handle large data volumes and ensure high availability.
- Implement monitoring, performance dashboards, and alerts to track and resolve potential performance bottlenecks.

**Data Security & Compliance**:

- Ensure that all integration processes and data exchanges comply with security best practices and data privacy regulations.
- Implement encryption and secure transmission mechanisms to protect data at rest and in transit.

**Collaboration & Leadership**:

- Work closely with development teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to align SAP HANA optimization efforts with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams and third-party vendors working on integration projects.
- Conduct training sessions to familiarize teams with optimized solutions and best practices in SAP HANA.

**Documentation & Support**:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture design, optimization techniques, and integration workflows.
- Offer post-deployment support and assist in troubleshooting complex issues related to SAP HANA performance or CPI integration.
