**About you**:
You should have a Master’s degree in food technology / nutrition/ public health or other related field with minimum 5 years of experience in managing health and nutrition projects in the states. You will come with and experience of working with state governments and implementing projects through Implementing partner on food fortification. Fluency in Hindi and English is essential. a prerequisite. Good writing skills in English are a pre-requisite

**About the role**:
The fortification officer will work under the overall guidance of the State Program Representative (SPR) to support implementation of food fortification projects in the Madhya Pradesh state. S/he will be responsible for providing technical and operational assistance in implementing NI’s fortification projects in the state. The scope of technical and operational assistance includes program planning, management and implementation, capacity building, monitoring and reporting. **In this role you will be responsible to**:

- Provide technical inputs in strategy development and support program planning at state level. Provide overall direction to state fortification portfolio and in alignment with government and NI strategies
- Support the SPR for develop annual Project Implementation Plan (PIP) and budget.
- Liaise with state government stakeholders to advocate for existing work and identify opportunities for new areas of collaboration.
- Support in the collaboration with the stakeholders for positioning NI’s technical expertise at various forums at state.
- Facilitate program delivery by identifying support required in project implementation and obtain necessary government approvals and ensure corrective actions from relevant government authorities as appropriate to address the gaps. Ensure continuous follow-up with the government wherever required.
- Assist in the development of different training modules and provide inputs and supportive supervision to the Training of Trainers (ToTs) and other trainings being organized by the implementing partner for government officials.
- Monitor implementing partner/ agency’s work-plan deliverables, targets, key performance indicators and provide necessary feedback to the SPR and implementing partner.
- Develop and support finalization of necessary technical documentation including concept notes, case studies, success stories, partner program reports, training modules, communication materials in consultation with the SPR and national team.
