IT Technician

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Support & Maintenance**:

- Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals across the campus, particularly in labs and staff offices.
- Provide timely first-level support for network connectivity issues, hardware, and software malfunctions.
- Assist in maintaining LAN infrastructure—cables, switches, routers—and ensure consistent connectivity.
- **Server & Network Management**:

- Support upkeep of campus servers, scheduled backups, user account management, and permissions.
- Help implement and monitor firewall configurations and basic network security measures.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network or server-related issues proactively.
- **IT Asset Management**:

- Track and manage inventory of IT hardware and consumables.
- Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure topology, system configurations, and setup procedures.
- **User Support & Training**:

- Conduct orientation or quick briefings for faculty and staff on using lab resources (like integrated server in labs).
- Manage support tickets efficiently and coordinate with senior IT staff for escalations.
- **Policy & Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to data security and privacy policies per university standards.
- Assist in routine software patching and updates to ensure system integrity.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
