**JOB TITLE: DESIGNER - TELECOM**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Undertakes specified tasks/ areas of work related to Telecom Design activities like 3-D modeling of Trays, Trench, Junction Boxes, Drafting, Generation of Location Layouts & Trench / Tray Layouts, Cable Schedule, Termination Drawings.
- Designer is accountable to the Lead Designer / Principal Designer dependent on size and complexity of the Project.
- Carries out 3-D modelling of Telecom items like telephone, Camera, PAGA components, perimeter detection system, Junction Boxes, Cable Trays, Trenches in PDMS, SP-3D software’s,
- Responsible for generation of Telecom design deliverables like Telecom location Layouts, Telecom Tray & Trench Layouts by extraction from 3-D model or manually prepare the layouts in AutoCAD / MicroStation.
- Responsible for preparation of cable engineering i.e., preparation of cable schedule, cable route index, junction box schedule.
- Responsible for generation of Termination Drawings using SPI -Tel software.
- Responsible for Inter-discipline coordination with Piping, Civil, Electrical & Instruments.
- Responsible for resolving site queries related to Construction.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Qualification in Engineering or Diploma
- Minimum 5+ years of Experience.
- Well versed with PDMS/E3D/SP3D Software.
