**Assistant Professor MCA Department:

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver effective lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for MCA courses.
- Prepare and update course syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment methods.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
- Conduct independent research in computer science or a related field.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
- Guide and mentor graduate students in research projects.
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues on research initiatives.
- Seek external funding for research projects.
- Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Engage in professional development activities.
- Participate in university-wide service activities.
- Build relationships with industry partners.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field with minimum 2 years experiences as per AICTE norms.
- Strong academic record with a demonstrated ability to teach at the graduate level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- A record of research and scholarly activity is preferred.
- Knowledge of current trends and technologies in computer science.
