**Job Title: Stores Assistant - Central Kitchen**

**Location**: Chettinad Health City, Kelambakkam

**Key Responsibilities**

**Inventory Management**
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming stock, ensuring alignment with purchase orders.
- Organize and store items systematically for easy access and efficient operations.
- Monitor stock levels, track consumption, and initiate reorders to maintain optimal inventory.
- Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

**Procurement & Vendor Coordination**
- Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast supply needs based on kitchen requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock movements.

**Kitchen Support**
- Assist in preparing daily indents for various kitchen sections.
- Ensure the timely issuance of ingredients and materials to kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in storage areas, adhering to food safety regulations.

**Documentation & Reporting**
- Update inventory management software with real-time data on stock levels and movements.
- Generate periodic reports on inventory status, consumption patterns, and procurement needs.
- Maintain records of goods received, issued, and returned.

**Educational Qualifications**

Diploma or a degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is a plus.

**Experience**
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in a food production or hospitality environment.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certification in Inventory Management or related courses.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
- Experience in central kitchen operations or large-scale food production units.
