**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the CBSE syllabus.
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Design and administer assessments, tests, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of their performance.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Manage student behavior in accordance with the school's disciplinary policies.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that are comprehensive and align with the curriculum objectives.
- Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Identify and support students with learning difficulties or other special educational needs.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students as required.
- Participate in professional development programs and continuous learning opportunities.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and advancements in English language teaching.
- Encourage and support students in participating in extracurricular activities related to English, such as literary clubs, debates, and competitions.
- Organize and oversee relevant school events and activities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. as teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary school level, preferably within the CBSE framework.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching.
