Medcal Representative

A medical representative should have excellent customer service skills. They should be able to meet or exceed the company’s sales targets. Following are the duties of a medical representative:

- Selling the company’s medications to physicians, pharmacists, and other pertinent medical experts.
- Making appointments with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical experts to promote brand-name medicines.
- Developing an extensive understanding of company medications.
- Establishing and preserving positive business relationships with clients to promote repeat business.
- Following up on leads the company has generated.
- Putting together presentations for prospective clients.
- Investigating the medicines of rival companies and each one’s market performance.
- Keeping up with new advances in the medical industry to assess how they might affect the company’s business strategies.
- Reviewing sales performance and writing reports.
- Develop and implement brand strategies with the sales team to provide a unified marketing message.
