**Job Title**: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Manufacturing Industry

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Planning and Analysis**:

- Develop, implement, and manage the company's financial strategy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct cost analysis and control, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor financial performance against budgets, and provide variance analysis.
- **Cost Accounting**:

- Oversee cost accounting activities, including product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Work with the production team to understand and control production costs.
- Ensure accurate allocation of overheads and other indirect costs.
- **Taxation and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, VAT, income tax, and other applicable laws.
- Prepare and file tax returns, and handle tax audits and assessments.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary changes.
- **Internal Controls and Audit**:

- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Identify areas of financial risk and implement measures to mitigate them.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and present financial reports to the management team and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely data flow for financial reporting.
- **Treasury and Cash Flow Management**:

- Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for the company's operations.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring optimal utilization of financial resources.
- Oversee working capital management, including receivables, payables, and inventory.
- **Strategic Support**:

- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Participate in strategic planning and provide financial inputs for expansion, investment, and other strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate the financial viability of new projects, capital expenditures, and potential acquisitions.
