**Job description**

**Role**
- Independently conduct branch/product/credit audits/support functions.
- Participate in audits of various Businesses with particular emphasis on Product / Operations /Control functions audits.
- Assist in Planning, designing and implementation of risk based audit plans to ensure safety and soundness of the Bank.
- Execute audits efficiently, including risk assessment, audit planning, testing, control evaluation, report drafting, follow-up and verification of issue closure.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls
- Ensure completion of assigned audits and documentation of work papers on time.
- Develop appropriate tests to be conducted and ascertain the level of testing of controls required. Develop rule-based analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of planning and testing
- Escalate issues appropriately and timely. Ensure concise and clear audit findings and reports are presented on a timely basis.
- Complete audits effectively and within established timelines
- Perform continuous monitoring and auditing of the business and support units to keep abreast of the development of the units and identify any areas of concerns.
- Support the Team Manager in the preparation of the quarterly/regular updates to Audit Committee
- Track status of open audit issues.
- Identify risks and prioritize audit work as part of a risk based audit program in close partnership with the wider Audit team
- Keep abreast of evolving regulatory changes and market events impacting the banking businesses and ensure appropriate audit coverage
- Communicate audit issues and results effectively in both verbal and written form, and be able to influence effectively
- Establish and manage strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the bank

**Salary**: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
