**Job Responsibility**
- Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Dispensing medications according to prescription orders.
- Ensuring proper labeling and packaging of medications.
- Providing information to patients about their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Answering patient questions and addressing concerns about medications.
- Counseling patients on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients.
- Monitoring patients' medication regimens for effectiveness and safety.
- Making recommendations for medication adjustments or changes as needed.
- Compounding medications as prescribed by physicians when commercially available products are not suitable.
- Providing specialized pharmacy services, such as preparing customized medications or intravenous solutions.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- Managing inventory levels, ordering medications, and maintaining proper storage conditions.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Participating in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care.
- Reporting medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and other patient safety concerns.
- Implementing strategies to minimize medication errors and improve patient outcomes.
