- Assist in various invasive procedures - Insertion of Arterial & Venous lines, Swan Ganz insertion, CCO, CCI, IABP insertion, PICCO Pacemakers, Pleural & pericardial tapping etc.
- Ability to interpret and analyse the haemodynamic changes & trouble shoot as well,
- Nursing Management of patients with various disease conditions & specialities
- Effective Management of patients on CRRT and haemodialysis.
- Ability to trouble shoot the CRRT & haemodialysis machines.
- Interpretation of 12 lead ECG, ABG analysis & other blood profiles like cardiac markers, coagulation profile, liver & renal profile etc.
- Effective management & handling of rapidly changing emergencies. - such as Cardiac Arrest, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Stroke, Acute Renal Failure, Cardiogenic shock, Haemorrhagic / Septic shock
- Interpret the need for code blue, ability to initiate BLS, & lead the team.
- Able to defibrillate the patient at times. Be an active member of code blue team.
- Ability to provide end of life care & assist for various organ donation like Eye, Kidney, Liver, Skin
- Handling of Bio Medical equipment - Ventilators, Syringe pumps, Cardiac Monitors, ECG machines, Crash cart & Defibrillator, IABP machines, Pacemakers, Nebulizers & Inhalers, Glucometers, Feeding Pumps, Warmers, Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs), Pressure relieving mattresses, Flusher disinfectors, Beds, Emergency trolleys & Wheel chairs, Portable Ventilators & Monitors etc.
- Fluid Monitoring - through strict Intake - Output chart for oral, RT, Jejunostomy intake of feeds & output through urine, RT aspiration, Chest & wound drainages
